Witkin Design Group Retained to Design Exterior Environment of “The W Fort Lauderdale Hotel and Residences" on Ft. Lauderdale Oceanfront
Colonial Development Group, LLC, of Ft. Lauderdale, has retained Witkin Design Group, a North Miami Beach landscape architecture firm, to design the exterior environment for the new W Fort Lauderdale Hotel and Residences. Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. will manage the property.
The new development, part of the exclusive “W” properties owned worldwide by Starwood, will be located at 435 North Fort Lauderdale Beach Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale.
The project will offer twin 23-story towers, one of which will feature 171 hotel condominium residences and the other, 346 exclusive resort hotel units.
Witkin Design Group’s responsibilities include design of a 5th-story pool and recreation deck, irrigation systems, at-grade and pool deck landscape design and exterior lighting.
Architectural design for the project will be by Adache Group Architects, Inc., of Ft. Lauderdale.
At Witkin Design Group, Juan R. Pacheco is Project Manager for the development.
Project completion is anticipated in spring, 2007.
